The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is committed to excellence in patient care, academic training, research, and innovation. The department serves as a centre for advanced maxillofacial surgical education and comprehensive clinical care, with a strong focus on developing skilled, competent, and ethically driven oral and maxillofacial surgeons.
Our faculty comprises highly experienced clinicians and academicians dedicated to providing extensive hands-on surgical training and mentorship. The department offers training and clinical exposure across a broad spectrum of subspecialties including oral and maxillofacial pathology, dentoalveolar surgery, implantology, maxillofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery, temporomandibular joint surgery, reconstructive surgery, cleft and craniofacial surgery, oncologic surgery, and cosmetic facial procedures.

The oral surgical curriculum for undergraduates is split into two parts with the trainees being exposed to basics of local anaesthesia and management of medical emergencies at the chair side in the III year and the core maxillofacial surgery in the final year of Under graduation.
Postgraduate Training

Intensive Surgical Training Program with Skin to skin Hands on Guidance
The trainees are exposed to complete spectrum of maxillofacial surgeries during their tenure and are provided with an opportunity to pursue advanced training.
