With numerous national and international publications and presentations across surgical specialities on Traumatology, Orbital Surgery, Regional Unusual Pathologies, Airway interventions and Neck Surgery, Dr Mukherji is a leading proponent of training the General Maxillofacial Surgeon as a priority in India over subspeciality interests. With this idea in 2008, Calcutta Institute of Maxillofacial Surgery was established as the first non trust, non corporate single speciality Maxillofacial hospital of Eastern India.
Apart from being a regular faculty for MDS Oral Surgery for Rama Dental College, Dr Srijon Mukherji is an invited, honorary faculty for MCh Plastic Surgery at the prestigious Calcutta Medical College and an Examiner at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK.
